First day of classes today. Got up bloody early - 6:30 I think. I didn't want to be late or anything. So I arrived in timely fashion 55 minutes after I left. Found Mita hall after stressing to get a copy of my schedule.
First class was Human Resources and Management which seemed alright - I thought Megan had it with me but apparently she dropped for my Race class later that day. The homework was all busy work, nothing to pressing but not at all needed.
Second I headed over to Azabu hall for Global Economics - which Aisha was supposed to be in but guess not. The teacher has an accent (who doesn't love accents) and the class seemed very interesting, although it's not required I'll stick with it.
I had a four hour break in which I met up with Aisha and Megan - we got food which.. sucked, worst I've had all week. From there Aisha headed to her class and I went with Megan to get her train pass - bit of a walk. I somehow lost my giant bottle of orange juice.
After that I had race with Aisha and Megan with Kyle Clevland - that course seems really fun.
Next a class I had previously highly anticipated - International Politics. After getting the syllabus - 50 pages of textbook reading a night - daily quizzes, few writing assignments and 3 large exams, not to mention the horribly typical PowerPoint presentations and lectures. I'm dropping :).
Last I had Post Communist Politics with Keita. There were about 7 students in the class which is always a good sign. The teacher seems very into the topic and has plenty of experience actually visiting and living in many of the post cold war states. He also works for the US State Department with the American Embassy here in Japan so he's definitely got credentials. The class is well structured, a bit of busy work but seems well worth it.
Following that we got out about an hour early so I headed back home.
