More good times with Aisha, Megan, and Yoshi! Train passes & Health Insurance

First off, train passes and health insurance - the first train pass was simple enough - showed the stations handed out 10,000 yen and it was a done deal...but it was only too Ebisu because I guess he couldn't mix the JR with the subway. Off to Shinjuku where I actually knew where I was going this time! Made it up to the 4th floor where I struggled a bit getting my message across, but the man was very smart and helpful and did everything right, getting me the discount and it worked out better than I could ever have hoped. Off to Ebisu where things got a little more confusing. The man at the desk saw my old ticket and didn't see why I needed another until I told him that I had two transfers - to Roppongi and to Azabu-Juban in which he finally understood and made out my passmo for......14,000!! For three stops, very expensive! Off to school after getting lost in Azabu for a bit - have got to watch for those exits.

No fun at school today... :/

And that's a lie, I had to go in to talk about the phone and my being 19 issue and hand in my transcript. The phone situation is really weird as some people already got it, it really depends on which station you go to. With the transcript I ended up going to the wrong building because I didn't get very good instructions - so I had this very cute secretary take me back to TUJ where I asked people who did know where to go.

It finally worked out but I was really late to meet Aisha and her buds for Shibuya and Harajuku. I eventually got there found them while accidentally scaring Aisha - we went off to Harajuku walked down Takeshita Street - the gals looked at clothes, Yoshi and I played the guy role well. The worst was this store of thousands of famous Japanese men photos in which I swear those two were in for an hour - Yoshi and I opted out. After that, more fun shopping! Eventually we worked our way down, past this awesome white cafe place with touch screens and cool picture apps. We wound up at Denny's (I think) where I got an excellent dish of snowcrab spaghetti had more fun before heading down to Shibuya doing that awesome picture machine thingy and then attempting to get me a cell trial #3 in which we got super close until they said it'd cost 10'000 a mount..... So obviously something went wrong so we butted out and worked our ways home.

I also got my mic working and was able to call my mom which was nice. (thanks to the innovations of Skype and extremely cheap prices)
